ICASA Licensing

There are two types of radio licenses: ICASA and License-free (license-free radios have a short range of 200-400 meters). Licensed ICASA radios have a range of 1-30 km.

The purpose of the application is to apply for a private frequency for personal or business use. This application is required by law.

Our ICASA Licensing Services

For a 2-way ICASA license, we offer the following services and support:

1. We provide the application forms
2. We complete the technical specifications on the application forms
3. We submit the application forms to ICASA
4. We handle regular correspondence on behalf of the client until we receive the ICASA license
5. Please note that there is an annual license fee payable to ICASA
6. We also offer the facilities to renew the license on behalf of the client annually
